After the FBI was surrounded on the Starkwood Compound and was forced to retreat, Jack, Tony and Larry Moss orchestrated a diversion to allow Tony to fall behind.

Tony was able to locate the containers containing a bio-weapon, developed in Sangala by General Juma. Jack was able to confirm these were the canisters as he was in transit with the containers after hi-jacking them from the seaport. Unfortunately the containers were breached and Jack had to expose himself to the weapon and in turn was infected by the disease. In light of the canisters being confirmed President Taylor authorized an air strike to destroy the weapons. Before the strike could be carried out, Starkwood CEO, Jonas Hodges, called President Taylor threatening to launch missiles containing the bio-weapon. So of course President Taylor recalled the air strike. Tony was able to determine the reason for President Taylor recall and Jack was able to get an unauthorized confirmation to proceed to take out the missiles. Which he did. But before he got one of Starkwood's agents went for a perimeter search.

After Tony destroyed the missiles and the FBI was clearing the scene, the rogue Starkwood agent resurfaced killing two FBI agents and taking off in an FBI vehicle with a canister of the bio-weapon. Tony (in custody without handcuffs) and Larry Moss took off in aerial pursuit to catch this rogue Starkwood agent. This rogue agent pulled over and Larry and Tony took cover in the fire fight. The Starkwood agent was able to hit Larry Moss and was coming back for a kill when

Tony put his hand up and the guy stopped and then Tony said, "I'm sorry Larry" and proceeded to smoother Larry Moss. This was a major twist. Is Tony still on the good side or is just another bad rogue "agent"? I hope it is not the latter. :-\

In another turn off events, one that was predictable, after Jack explicable said don't involve my daughter, Renee Walker, call Kim Bauer who could possibly be a donor of stem cells to help Jack recover from the debilitating disease he was infected with. Jack however said he did not want to put her through that, they had an emotional moment. Then Jack started having a reaction and he asked Kim to leave. She stormed out all emotional. I think she will go to the doctor's to find out how she can help. In the coming attractions it looks like Jack is running around all fine and dandy, but then again with the disease he has his moments.

Monday March 2nd

This Monday March 2, 2009 there will be a 2 back to back episodes of 24. The shows start at 8 and runs to 10. You must tune in as this is one of the most gripping seasons of 24 yet.

Jack is back...

The long awaited return of Jack Bauer and 24 has finally come, and gone. The premiere of 24: Season 7 aired tonight at 8.

Jack Bauer was back in his original, amazing, form. Although this premiere was not an explosive premiere as the previous ones, there was enough action to entice. These two hours were about finding Tony Almeida, who has apparently turned his back on the U.S. and is now working with a homegrown terrorist cell, who is working for one of General Juma's (of Africa) men, who is trying to avenge the death of his brother. This man's brother was killed by Jack in 24:Redemption.

I can not wait for day 2 of the 2 day 4 hour season premiere. Tune in Fox 5 Monday 9pm (8pm tomorrow, 1/12/09)

24: Redemption

The day has finally arrive. That would be the day 24 returned. Tonight FOX 5 aired a 2 hour TV movie called 24: Redemption. This was the first time 24 has been back on TV since the May 21, 2007. Season 7 was suppose to air last January however, the wonderful writers strikes prevented 24 from being aired in full so the producers decided to hold off airing it until they were able to air the complete season in full without interruptions. The producers then made a 2 hour TV movie to fill in the gap between Day 6 and Day 7.

24 Redemption was filmed in Africa and tackled the issue of Child Solider issue going on in Africa. As Jack makes his return we find him living at a American school for African children ran by Jack's friend, Mr. Bennet, from the military. Mr. Bennet has taken these kids in to try to protect them from a militant group "recruiting" children to be their soldiers. I say "recruiting" because they are capturing these kids and forcing them to be there soldiers.

A guy from the U.S. Embassy arrive as the school and subpoenas Jack. A subpoena, we find out, Jack has been avoiding for a year now. As a result of risking Mr. Bennet losing government funding for his school, Jack decides it is best for him to leave.

As Jack is on his way, to his next destination, one of the boys stops him as Mr. Bennet is on the phone. Mr. Bennet is informing Jack that the militant group is on there way to kidnap his students and asks Jack to keep the kids safe. This is where the action begins...

With the kids in the underground shelter, Jack proceeds to take out a whole lot of the militant group. That is until he pursues two guys in the woods and get clobbered knocking him out and being captured. And what would 24 be without a little torture, Jack is tortured to give up the location of the kids. Of course you can't torture Jack Bauer, however Jack gives in and gives up the location of the kids. But, of course Jack wouldn't give up the location of the kids, he give them a phony location which leads them right to his friend who is waiting to kill them, as Jack jumps up and grabs onto the leaders neck with his legs, snapping it, killing him instantly.

Jack, his friend and the kids are now on the run to get to the U.S. Embassy where all US civilians are being evacuated on the order of President Daniels in his last hours of presidency. You all remember President Daniels, the slimy, grease ball who took over the presidency after President Wayne Palmer was injured in Day 6.

Long story short, Jack makes it to the U.S. Embassy with the kids, where Jack is forced to give himself up to the subpoena in order to get the kids into the embassy and safe from the militant group.

Day 7 looks even more intense as someone from Jacks past, who was believed to be dead, returns as a suspect in terrorist activity. Day 7 starts Sunday January 11th
at 8pm and continues on Monday January 12th at 8pm, for a two night two hours television event ONLY ON FOX 5.

Don't forget to catch the 2-hour TV movie, November 23rd on FOX. This movie will take place between Day 6 and Day 7. Thanks to the writers strike that delay the airing of Day 7 this TV movie is needed to fill in the blank as to what happened between Day 6 and Day 7.
